Trump’s Special middle East Envoy Leaves Moscow for Muscat to Attend Third Round of Indirect Iran-US Nuclear Talks
The English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency adn Al Jazeera, reports that Axios has announced Steve Witkoff, the U.S. President’s special envoy for the Middle East, departed Moscow for Muscat, the capital of Oman, after meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin and senior officials. He will attend indirect nuclear negotiations with Iran’s delegation on Saturday.
Dmitry Peskov, the Kremlin spokesperson, stated that Witkoff delivered a letter from U.S. President Donald Trump to his Russian counterpart and received a letter addressed to Trump before leaving Moscow.
Meanwhile, Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister, arrived in Muscat today to participate in the third round of indirect talks between Iran and the U.S., hosted by Oman tomorrow.
