U.S. and Ukrainian Presidents Meet in St.Peter’s Basilica During Funeral for Catholic Leader
The presidents of the United States and Ukraine, who traveled to Italy to attend the funeral of the global Catholic leader, met at St.Peter’s Basilica.
according to a report by the English section of ”webangah News Agency” citing Mehr News Agency and Reuters,newly released images on social media—also shared by Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha—show Donald Trump and Volodymyr Zelenskyy,the presidents of America and Ukraine,engaging in an entirely informal conversation inside St. peter’s Basilica.The images surfaced after Serhiy Nykyforov, spokesperson for Zelenskyy’s office, had earlier stated without elaborating: “The meeting took place and is over.”

On the other side, Steven Cheung, White house Communications Director, noted that more details about this meeting would be released, stating: “Trump and Zelensky met privately today and had a very productive discussion.”
In published images, French President Emmanuel Macron and UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer are also seen among the attendees.
