Palestinian Sources Report Continued Crimes by Zionist Regime in Khan Yunis, Destruction of Numerous homes by Occupation forces
According to a report by teh English section of Webangah News Agency, citing the Shahhab news agency, the Media Committee of Tulkarm announced that the Zionist regime’s army has continued its violations against the city of Tulkarm and its camp in northern Khan Yunis for several consecutive days. The assaults have persisted into eid al-Fitr,targeting the Nour Shams camp.
The committee stated that as a result of these attacks, the number of displaced persons in Nour Shams and Tulkarm camps has risen to 25,000.Occupation forces, backed by extensive military reinforcements, have carried out widespread raids using live ammunition, sound bombs, and incursions into homes and shops. They have also destroyed property and arbitrarily detained residents—tightening their siege on these areas.
The Tulkarm Media Committee added: “The occupation army further invaded eastern Tulkarm city near…”The Nour Shams camp has been sealed off with earthen berms, and the movement of vehicles has been restricted. Additionally, homes and buildings in the Nablus Road area and the northern adjacent neighborhood have been confiscated, and after forcibly evacuating residents, they have been converted into military barracks.
According to media reports, during these attacks, at least 13 Palestinians—including a child and two women—were martyred, while dozens of others were injured or arrested.
The Media Committee further reported: Substructures, homes, shops, and vehicles were severely damaged, with many wholly or partially destroyed, burned down, or vandalized. Additionally, 396 houses were completely destroyed in the Tulkarm camps (Nour shams), while another 2,573 houses suffered partial damage. The entrances and alleys of these camps have been blocked with earthen berms.
