Lapid Netanyahu pressures reserve forces instead of Haredim
Head of the Zionist Regime’s Police Criticizes First Minister’s Actions, Says Cabinet Should Not Pay Salaries to Non-Serving Individuals in the Army
According to a report by the English section of Webangah News Agency, citing Al Jazeera, Ya’ir Lapid, head of the Zionist regime’s police, criticized today (Sunday) the actions of Benjamin Netanyahu, the first minister of this regime, for using military reserve funds to pay Haredim (ultra-orthodox Jews exempt from military service) instead.
He stated: “The government is trying, instead of recruiting Haredim, to place a greater burden on reserve forces.”
Lapid warned that if this trend continues, it would prevent financial aid from being allocated to Haredim and said: “We will stop this action and will not pay anyone who does not [serve in the army].”
The 18-month war waged by the Zionist regime against Gaza has intensified…Without the goals being clearly defined, this has led to increased pressure on the military of this regime and Zionist-leaning youth who are reluctant to serve in the military. The state, unable to rely on its alliance with extremist Jewish factions above the military draft, resorts to exploiting forced conscription of Haredim (ultra-Orthodox Jews) for mandatory service—a move aimed at preventing further internal and external collapse.
According to a report by Quds Network, recent data presented by representatives of this regime’s military in a session of the Knesset’s Foreign Affairs and Security Committee revealed that only 232 out of 19,000 Haredi youth who received draft notices responded positively—a mere 1.2% compliance rate.
The Hebrew newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth recently highlighted an audio leak from Netanyahu’s office, where he openly promised leaders of the Haredi movement that he would legally ensure their exemption from military service if they supported his coalition. This underscores efforts to secure political backing by accommodating demands for draft evasion.
