The English section of webangah News Agency,citing Mehr News Agency and Shehab,reported that the Zionist regime’s army is conducting legal reviews to extend the service of its military personnel beyond their mandatory terms.
According to the report, published in Yedioth Ahronoth, the Zionist regime’s army has acknowledged a shortage of 10,000 troops due to the ongoing war in Gaza strip and its failure to recruit Haredi Jews (ultra-Orthodox).
Earlier, Yair Lapid, head of the opposition faction in the Zionist regime, criticized Prime Minister Netanyahu for relying on reserve soldiers rather of integrating Haredi Jews into military service.
