Russian President Condoles with islamic Republic of Iran Over deadly Explosion at shahid Rajaei Port
The Kremlin, on behalf of Russian President Vladimir Putin, conveyed his condolences to the Islamic Republic of Iran regarding the explosion at Shahid Rajaei Port, its victims, and the extensive destruction caused by the incident. This was reported by the English section of “webangah News Agency” citing Mehr News Agency and Sputnik.
In his message, President Putin expressed his deepest sympathies to Ayatollah Khamenei, Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, as well as Iranian President Masoud pezeshkian, over the lives lost and widespread devastation from the blast.
Putin also emphasized Russia’s readiness to provide assistance to Iran in addressing the consequences of this tragedy.
The explosion on Saturday afternoon at Shahid rajaei port triggered a severe fire, which was largely extinguished hours later, allowing ships to dock again. Tragically, 25 citizens lost their lives, and hundreds were injured in the incident.
