Zionist regime threatens to expand scope of war in Gaza
Zionist regime media sources announced that Tel Aviv will expand the scope of the war in Gaza if no progress is made in ceasefire negotiations within the next two weeks.
The English section of Webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera, reported that the Zionist newspaper israel Hayom quoted a high-ranking Zionist source threatening that if no progress is achieved in ceasefire talks within the next two weeks, the Zionist regime’s army will escalate military operations in the Gaza strip.
The report emphasized that expanding the war in Gaza would require mobilizing additional reserve forces.
Meanwhile,Yair Lapid, head of the opposition to the zionist regime’s cabinet, stated that instead of drafting Haredi-affiliated individuals into military service, the cabinet is imposing greater responsibilities on reserve forces. The Hebrew-language newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth also reported that the Israeli army is currently in a state of reform, citing a shortage of manpower as the reason. This has compelled military officials to extend the service period for regular soldiers, requiring them to serve an additional four months in the army.
The Israeli army has announced that due to the ongoing war and its inconclusive outcomes, efforts to recruit religious Jewish ”Haredi” men have left it with nearly 10,000 fewer troops. The military also noted that reserve soldiers have served approximately 500 consecutive days.
The same Hebrew-language newspaper further revealed that senior Zionist officials are seeking qatar’s exclusion from ceasefire negotiations and believe cooperation with Egypt must continue in this regard.
These officials claim Qatar’s involvement aids Hamas, thereby undermining talks aimed at securing hostage releases.Israeli Army Increases Attacks
While ceasefire negotiations and the Israeli army’s withdrawal from combat have stalled, the Zionist government is attempting to rally support by involving the Prime Minister and Chief of Staff in their military campaigns.
this newspaper also reported that, in reality, not only have talks been suspended, but the Israeli army—which has extensive experience in guerrilla warfare—is now engaged in expanded conflict.According to this report, Israeli military officials argue that continuing negotiations solely through Egyptian mediation is more appropriate and that only through Egypt can Israel achieve its desired outcomes in closer proximity to the talks.
