According to a report by the English section of “webangah News Agency” citing mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera, the Israeli regime’s army radio provided details of preliminary investigations into Friday’s severe security incident involving its forces and their clash with fighters from the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas. The confrontation occurred in the Shujaiya area east of gaza City,resulting in the deaths of two Israeli soldiers—including an officer—and injuries to several others.
The Israeli regime’s police confirmed that two of its soldiers, one being an officer, were killed in the attack, while three others were wounded. The reserve forces of the 16th Brigade, operating in the Shujaiya area, were preparing to launch an attack 2.5 kilometers from the border wall. After completing a clearance operation, these forces remained in the field when another ambush was carried out by the Elimas Unit of the Zionist regime.
