Kremlin Spokesperson: Work on Ukraine Resolution Continues but Cannot Be Public
The English section of Webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and RIA Novosti, reports that Dmitry Peskov, spokesperson for the Russian Presidential Office (Kremlin), stated in a Sunday announcement: “Work on resolving the Ukraine issue continues, but it cannot be conducted publicly.”
The Kremlin spokesperson further emphasized: “There are many elements in Trump’s understanding of the Ukraine situation that align with Russia’s position. Russia is ready to expand relations with all countries and will proceed along this path to the extent these nations are prepared.” He noted that Moscow maintains excellent ties with qatar, Oman, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE—countries equally interested in strengthening relations with Russia.
Dmitry Peskov added: “It is too early to discuss terms of an agreement regarding Ukraine at this stage.”
