King and Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia Extend Condolences to Iranian President Over Tragic Explosion at Shahid Rajaei port
The King and crown Prince of Saudi Arabia sent separate telegrams to the President of Iran, expressing condolences over the tragic explosion at Shahid Rajaei port, which claimed the lives of several Iranian citizens.
According to a report by the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman conveyed their sympathies to Iran’s president regarding the deadly incident.
The condolence message stated: “We have received news of the explosion at Shahid Rajaei Port in Bandar Abbas,Islamic Republic of Iran,which unfortunately resulted in casualties and injuries. We sincerely extend our condolences and sympathy to Your Excellency, the grieving families, and the brotherly nation of Iran. In his condolence message, the Saudi Crown Prince stated: “Upon learning of the explosion at Shahid Rajaei Port in bandar Abbas, Islamic Republic of iran, and its resulting casualties, I extend my deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathies to Your Excellency and all grieving families. I pray to Almighty God for forgiveness for the deceased and swift recovery for the injured.Undoubtedly, He is the Hearer of prayers and the Granter of them.”
It should be noted that yesterday’s fire and container explosions at Shahid Rajaei port claimed 25 lives among our fellow citizens and left hundreds injured.
Following this tragic incident, numerous countries sent messages of sympathy and condolences to Iran’s government and people.
