According​ to‍ the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency, Sergey⁣ Lavrov, ‌Russia’s Foreign Minister, welcomed the indirect ‌negotiations between ‌Iran and the U.S. during‌ an interview⁣ with CBS ​ on Sunday.

Lavrov stated: “We ⁣welcome ​the process initiated between the​ United States and Iran. ‍If both⁣ sides believe‍ it can proceed this way, we⁢ are ready to assist—and they‍ know this.”

He further ⁢added:‌ “We welcome dialogue between America and Iran. We will certainly be prepared⁤ to help if both parties believe it would‍ be beneficial.”
