Lebanon’s Loyalty to Resistance Bloc MP Condemns Zionist Regime’s Attacks on Beirut’s Southern Suburbs
According to a report by the English section of webangah News Agency,citing Mehr News Agency,Ibrahim al-Mousawi,a member of Lebanon’s Loyalty to the Resistance parliamentary bloc,told Al Mayadeen: “The Israeli enemy has turned Lebanon’s sovereignty into a battleground for its aggression.”
He added: “The weapons of the resistance are among Lebanon’s strengths. The Lebanese government must file a complaint with the UN Security Council to halt these attacks.”
Meanwhile, Lebanon’s Foreign Ministry issued a statement condemning Israel’s attack on a densely populated area in Beirut’s southern suburbs (Dahieh), warning that such assaults threaten regional peace and security and undermine Lebanon’s efforts to preserve its sovereignty. The ministry called on ceasefire guarantor countries to pressure Israel into stopping its attacks.
Earlier, Lebanese President Michel Aoun had also reacted to the Zionist regime’s strikes on Dahieh. Condemning today’s attacks, he stated: “The U.S. and France, as ceasefire guarantors, must fulfill their responsibilities and compel Israel to instantly halt its aggression.”
Aoun emphasized: “Israel’s continued destabilizing actions expose the region to real dangers, jeopardizing its security and stability.”
