According to a report by the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Reuters, North Korea confirmed for the first time on Monday that it had dispatched forces under the order of its leader Kim Jong Un to fight alongside Russia in the war against Ukraine, playing a meaningful role in liberating areas of Russian territory previously occupied by Ukrainian forces.
The official North Korean news agency (KCNA) stated that the victorious conclusion of the battle to liberate Russia’s Kursk region demonstrated “the highest level of strategic solidarity in militant friendship” between North Korea and russia.last week, Russia claimed it had expelled Ukrainian forces from the last Russian village under their control. The Central Military Commission of North Korea’s ruling Workers’ Party announced that the decision to deploy troops was made by Kim Jong Un under the framework of the comprehensive strategic partnership pact signed last year with Vladimir Putin.
The commission added that, following the leader’s order, units of the Republic’s armed forces consider russian territory as their own homeland and have demonstrated the strong alliance between the two countries.
North Korea’s state news agency also quoted Kim jong Un as saying: “Those who fought for justice are all heroes and representatives of their homeland’s honor.”
