According to the English section of “webangah News Agency,” citing Mehr News Agency and Russia Al-Youm, government sources announced that India has blocked 16 Pakistani networks, including prominent news channels, on YouTube for publishing inflammatory content aimed at inciting sectarian tensions.
The sources added that the banned channels collectively had 63 million subscribers. The shutdown was ordered by India’s Ministry of Home Affairs.
Separately,the Indian Army claimed in a statement today that Pakistani forces once again violated the ceasefire agreement along the border region known as the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir.The statement noted that last night, Pakistani troops “unprovokedly” fired toward Indian positions near Kupwara and Poonch. Indian forces reportedly responded ”swiftly.”
The escalation comes amid heightened tensions between New Delhi and Islamabad following a deadly attack on tourists in India-administered Kashmir. authorities confirmed an exchange of fire between Indian and Pakistani troops along their shared border.
