He urged Canadians to vote for a candidate in the upcoming election who could reduce taxes and strengthen the country’s military with free U.S. support.Trump stated in his message that if Canada became the 51st U.S. state, its automotive, steel, aluminum, timber, energy, and othre industries could quadruple without tariffs or taxes.
He emphasized that this would eliminate artificial borders between the two nations, ensuring free movement across both territories.
The U.S. president added: “America cannot continue spending hundreds of billions annually subsidizing Canada.” He argued this arrangement would only make sense if Canada were recognized as a U.S. state.
