Head of Israel’s Internal Security Agency Announces Resignation Date
According to a report by the English section of “webangah News Agency” citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera Qatar, Ronen Bar, the head of the Zionist regime’s internal security service (Shin bet), announced that he will resign from his position on June 15 (Khordad 25).
Bar acknowledged the agency’s failure to predict and warn about the October 7 attack, taking responsibility for this setback.
The Shin Bet chief also expressed hope that Israel’s Supreme Court would issue a ruling to help maintain the agency’s current structure in support of security and democracy.
yair Lapid, leader of the Zionist regime’s opposition, praised Bar’s decision to step down, stating: “Ronen Bar made the right decision, but only one person [Netanyahu] responsible for Israel’s greatest historical failure remains clinging to his seat.”
Lapid further criticized netanyahu for not resigning as prime minister, adding sarcastically: “The people of Israel deserve elections at the earliest possible time.”
