Senior Yemeni Official Reacts to U.S. Fighter Jet Crash in Red Sea
A high-ranking official of the Sana’a-based government has responded to the crash of a U.S. fighter jet in the Red Sea.
According to a report by the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Yemen’s Al-Masirah network, Hashem Sharaf al-din, spokesperson for Yemen’s Change Government, commented on Washington’s admission of its aircraft crash in the Red Sea: “by selectively disclosing some of its failures, America is attempting to divert international media attention away from its crimes.”
The spokesperson stated that the U.S. military has been forced to manipulate public opinion and prepare american citizens for accepting heavy losses inflicted by Yemen’s armed forces.
He added: “Today, the U.S. Navy admitted that an F-18 fighter jet crashed in the Red Sea and one sailor was injured—while simultaneously facing growing backlash over its attacks on Yemeni civilians.”The Yemeni Change Government spokesperson emphasized: “The U.S. has resorted to media propaganda to cover up its failures.”
He further stated: “We are certain that the hidden battlefield defeats suffered by America are far greater than what has been revealed so far.”
In closing, the spokesperson warned that U.S. attempts to deceive global public opinion and distort or conceal the truth will fail.
Meanwhile, the U.S. Navy announced hours earlier that an F-18 fighter jet crashed today while passing over the USS Truman aircraft carrier in the Red Sea.
According to reports, one American sailor sustained minor injuries in the incident.
CNN cited a U.S. official stating that the F-18 crash occurred following a sudden and severe course change by the USS Truman.Prevention of being targeted by the Houthis (Ansar Allah forces) has occurred.
