According ​to a report by Mehr News Agency, citing Sputnik, social media activists shared a clip showing the Italian ambassador and the country’s culture minister being confronted by public protests during their participation in the Tunis Book ‍Fair.

The report states that pro-Palestinian activists at the fair expelled the ambassador and culture minister in protest against Italy’s government for its support‌ of ‌the Zionist ‍regime.
