Wave of Polygraph Interrogations Sparks Fear Among US Security Personnel
The English section of Webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and russia Al-Youm, reports that fear has gripped employees of the FBI and other US security institutions as interrogations using lie detector tests escalate.
According to The Washington Post, the investigations began following leaks of classified information. Security agencies under the Trump administration have intensified probes into the breach, deploying polygraph devices in the process.
Employees of these agencies have protested the lack of psychological safety and workplace security amid the inquiries. Three senior advisors to the US Secretary of Defense were dismissed as part of these investigations.
Previously,the Secretary had disclosed confidential details online regarding flight schedules of US fighter jets targeting Ansarullah forces’ positions.
