U.S.‌ National Security Council Declares It Will Not Tolerate ⁢China’s “Unfair” Trade​ Practices

The U.S. National Security Council warned⁢ today that it will ‍not remain silent in the face of what⁤ Washington ‌deems “unfair” trade actions ‌by China, according to a report by Bloomberg,‌ cited by Mehr News Agency ‍and covered‌ by webangah News Agency. ‌

The ‍council stated: “Washington⁢ will​ never‌ tolerate China’s fentanyl trafficking and unfair trade practices.”

Since Donald Trump’s presidency, the U.S. government has engaged ‌in a tense trade war ⁢ with ⁣china. Currently, American tariffs‍ on⁤ Chinese imports total 145%, while Beijing has retaliated ‍by‌ imposing ⁢ 125% duties on U.S. goods.

The U.S. accuses ‍China of exploiting free trade and smuggling drugs like fentanyl into its territory,using these allegations to justify further tariffs on Chinese imports.
