Russian Defense Ministry Announces Capture of Territory in Eastern ​Ukraine

The Russian Defense ⁣Ministry announced today (Tuesday) that its ‍forces have taken control of the village of⁤ Doroshkova in the Kharkiv region of Ukraine, according ‌to a report by‌ the English section of “webangah News Agency” citing Mehr News agency and RT.

This advance ‍comes as Russian President Vladimir Putin ‌declared a three-day ceasefire (from May 8 to May 11) to mark the 80th anniversary ‍of Victory Day.⁤ ⁢

Dmitry Peskov, the Kremlin spokesperson, stated that Kyiv has ⁣not yet issued an official response to this announcement.
