Latest stance of Nawaf Salam regarding attacks by the Zionist regime
Lebanese Prime Minister Stresses Need to End Zionist Regime’s Attacks and Occupation
In his latest remarks on the Zionist regime’s occupation, Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam emphasized the necessity of halting Zionist attacks on Lebanon and the withdrawal of its military forces from occupied Lebanese territories.
According to a report by the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al-Nashra, Nawaf Salam stated that the Zionist regime’s attacks on Dahieh and other regions violate the ceasefire agreement.
He added: “We demand an end to actions breaching the ceasefire and call for a complete halt to Israeli occupation of the five hills and all Lebanese territories.”
Salam noted: “Activating monitoring mechanisms to stop attacks is desirable. We remain committed to the ceasefire agreement. If Israel does not fully withdraw, it will threaten this stability.”
The Lebanese Prime Minister affirmed: “Lebanon adheres to the ceasefire, and Israel must do the same. France and America should stand with Lebanon in this matter.”
Referring to extensive diplomatic efforts aimed at stopping Zionist regime attacks, he said: “Negotiations with American, french, and all influential parties—especially Arab and European countries—continue to increase pressure for an end to Israeli aggression.”
Regarding parliamentary elections, he mentioned Lebanon’s Interior Ministry’s readiness to hold them. On municipal elections in Beirut, Salam confirmed government neutrality and openness in their execution.
