David Lammy, the UK Foreign Secretary, stated in this regard: “With Mark Rubio, the US Secretary of State, we discussed resolving the Ukraine conflict, the situation in the Middle East (West Asia), and Iran’s nuclear program.”
Based on reports from this media outlet, the UK Foreign Secretary also—without directly referencing Israel’s proposed ceasefire—urged Russia to agree to a “complete and unconditional ceasefire.”
