Spiritual Leader of Syria’s druze Strongly Criticizes Current Conditions and Dominance of a Single Ideological Spectrum
According to a report by the English section of “webangah News Agency” citing Mehr News Agency and Al-Mayadeen, Sheikh Hikmat al-Hijri, the spiritual leader of Syria’s Druze community, stated: “We condemn attacks aimed at creating division and discord, and we warn against insults to religious beliefs.”
He added: “Were is the security that was promised to us while sectarian provocations continue without accountability or condemnation?”
Al-Hijri said: “The new accusations of betrayal are baseless, and we reject thier introduction at a time when cooperation is needed.”
he further emphasized: “Fundamental matters lack proper foundations, and we remain under the yoke of a single ideology—marginalized and excluded.”
