Lavrov We support permanent membership of India and Brazil in the Security Council

Russian foreign Minister ‍Announces: “We Support Permanent Membership for India and‍ Brazil in the UN Security Council.”

According to a report by the English section of webangah News agency, citing Mehr News Agency and RIA Novosti, Sergey Lavrov, Russia’s Foreign Minister, stated on Tuesday that Russia⁢ regularly updates its ⁣BRICS partners on the progress of negotiations between Moscow and ‍the United States.

Lavrov added, “We hope the world will soon see⁣ tangible​ evidence of mutual interests between ​Russia and America. Both nations maintain contact across various fields and are working to balance their⁣ interests.”

He further emphasized, ‌ “Peace in Ukraine is only possible if its root causes are addressed… We support​ reforms in the UN Security Council. We ⁤back permanent membership for India and Brazil in the Security Council.”

Regarding Western destructive policies,including tariff⁣ wars,Lavrov remarked,“The West is committed‍ to living at⁣ others’ expense and relies on neo-colonial methods.”
