India: The Pakistani army has fired towards the international borders
Indian Military Sources Report Pakistani Army Firing Toward International Borders
According to the English section of “webangah News Agency,” citing Mehr News Agency and Russia Al-Youm, the Indian news agency ANI reported, quoting military sources, that the Pakistani army violated the border ceasefire agreement with India early Wednesday morning.
The sources added that while Pakistan had been breaching the ceasefire along the Line of Control (LoC) until yesterday morning, it has now expanded its actions by violating the international border ceasefire, firing toward the international borders in Jammu sector.
The Pargwal sector, located in India-administered Jammu south of the loc, was reportedly targeted.
Tensions between India and Pakistan escalated following an armed attack on tourists in jammu and Kashmir, which resulted in 26 fatalities.
Yesterday, Pakistan’s Information Minister Attaullah Tarar claimed Islamabad possesses credible intelligence indicating that India plans to launch a military strike against Pakistan within 24 to 36 hours.
