Ukrainian President Reacts too Ceding Territory to Russia to End War

The English‌ section​ of the Webangah News Agency,⁤ citing Mehr News Agency and ⁣Russia Al-Youm, reported that Ukrainian President ​ Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated during a⁤ video conference: “We urge ​everyone to ⁤end this war ‌fairly,⁣ without giving Putin gifts—especially any part of Ukrainian territory.”

He added: “Ukrainian⁢ land must ⁢not be handed as​ a gift to Putin.”

On Monday, Russia’s Foreign Minister claimed that the Crimean Peninsula is part of Russian territory and that Moscow’s condition for ‌peace talks includes annexing additional regions of Ukraine.
