Sanaa’s response to Britain’s participation in the airstrike against Yemen
Yemen Warns UK Against Participation in Airstrikes on Its Territory
According to a report by the English section of Webangah News Agency, citing the news outlet Al-masirah, the Yemeni government issued a statement warning that the British enemy must face consequences for its aggression against Yemen.
The statement emphasized that the violation of Yemen’s sovereignty falls within the broader context of unfriendly American and British movements in support of the Zionist regime. These actions,it noted, perpetuate crimes against generations and commit war atrocities against the Palestinian people.
Yemen further stressed that no matter how extensive its defensive measures, sana’a will retaliate against what it termed the “triad of evil: America, Britain, and Zionists,” as well as all those complicit in this axis.
This comes after Britain officially participated for the first time in direct airstrikes on Yemen several months ago.UK Ministry of Defence Admits Joint Participation with US Forces in Recent Yemen Strikes
The UK Ministry of Defence acknowledged that its forces participated alongside American troops in a joint operation targeting Yemen the day before.
The ministry further stated that british FGR4 Typhoon fighter jets targeted several structures in southern Yemen using precision-guided munitions.
The US and UK, in support of the Zionist regime, have conducted airstrikes against Yemen since October 7, focusing on military sites and non-governmental facilities. These attacks have enabled the Yemeni armed forces to continue backing Palestinian resistance and their people in Gaza while carrying out operations confined to individuals—targeting operational hubs, vessels linked to the Zionist regime, and even American warships in the Red Sea and Indian Ocean. Several advanced American drones have also been downed during these engagements.
