The use of the most dangerous prohibited weapons by America against Yemen
Yemeni Association Exposes U.S. Use of Banned Weapons Against Yemen
A Yemeni organization has revealed the use of internationally prohibited weapons by the United States against Yemen. According to a report by the English section of Webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al-Mayadeen, a Yemeni bomb-monitoring center identified remnants of an American GBU-39 JDAM bomb used in a recent deadly attack on a migrant detention center in Saada.
The center stated that deploying such bombs constitutes a clear violation of international law. The weapon, designed as an anti-bunker munition, was employed during the bombardment of an African migrants’ facility in Saada.
The organization emphasized that this bomb is among the most risky internationally banned weapons, prohibited for use against civilians. It generates extreme explosive force and reaches temperatures of 3,500 degrees Celsius upon detonation, violating multiple international protocols.
Additionally, the center warned that these bombs contribute to the spread of cancerous diseases, stillbirths, and congenital disabilities among affected populations.
