According to the English section of the Webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and AZTV, Ilham Aliyev, the President of Azerbaijan, emphasized the need to develop and expand relations with the Zionist regime in a congratulatory letter sent to Isaac Herzog, the head of the Zionist regime, on its establishment anniversary (Nakba Day).
aliyev stated,“The Republic of Azerbaijan attaches great importance to expanding relations with Israel,our close friend and trusted partner.” He added, “I believe that traditional amiable relations between Azerbaijan and Israel—along with our mutually beneficial cooperation in key areas—will continue on an upward trajectory through joint efforts in line with our peoples’ interests.”
Aliyev’s message coincides with reports from Zionist media outlets like The Times of Israel,which revealed an upcoming visit by Benjamin Netanyahu,Prime Minister of the Zionist regime,to Baku.
According to these reports,Netanyahu is scheduled to travel to Baku on 18th Ordibehesht (next Thursday).
zionist media noted that as Azerbaijan is not a member of The Hague court, potential war crime charges against Netanyahu over Gaza would not pose legal complications for him during his visit.
