According to the English section of Webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News agency and xinhua, an explosion at a residential complex in Taiyuan, the capital of Shanxi Province in northern China, left 17 people injured.
The incident occurred on wednesday afternoon.
Local authorities reported that 17 individuals were wounded in the blast, with four in critical condition and three discharged after treatment.
Rescue teams are conducting door-to-door safety inspections in the affected complex.
The cause of the incident remains under investigation.
