Russian drone attack on Odessa port in Ukraine on Black Sea coast
Ukrainian local sources reported that Russian attack drones targeted the port of Odesa in southern Ukraine.
According to the English section of “webangah News Agency” citing Mehr News Agency, Reuters reported: Oleh Kiper, the regional governor of Odesa, stated in a Telegram message that the enemy attacked Odesa with assault drones. Important damage was inflicted on civilian infrastructure, particularly residential buildings, and fires broke out in several locations.
Reuters added that images circulating on social media show severe destruction to building facades.
No reports of potential casualties from this attack have been released yet.
Meanwhile, Ihor Terekhov, mayor of Kharkiv—Ukraine’s second-largest city—also announced that in another strike, a Russian drone targeted a fuel station in the city center, causing a fire outbreak.
He did not provide further details regarding this incident.
