Washington: Fourth round of US-Iran talks to be held
U.S. State Department Confirms Fourth Round of Nuclear Talks Between Tehran and Washington
According to a report by the English section of “webangah News Agency” citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera,Iran and the U.S. have so far held three rounds of indirect talks mediated by Oman to resolve issues surrounding Iran’s nuclear program.Though, the timing for the fourth round remains unclear.
The U.S. State department stated: ”We do not confirm our participation in a fourth round of talks with iran.”
The statement further added: “A new round of negotiations with the Iranian side will take place, but its date has not yet been determined.”
This proclamation comes after U.S. President Donald Trump recently escalated his rhetoric against Iran, threatening within the past few hours: “Any country that buys oil from Iran will not be allowed to trade with the United States.”
