Trump’s Vice President Announces Ukraine War Will not End Soon
According to the English section of “webangah News Agency” citing Mehr News Agency and Reuters, Donald Trump, the U.S. president sence entering the White House, has made ending the Ukraine war and halting Washington’s intervention in the conflict his top priority. However, deep disagreements have prevented an immediate ceasefire agreement.
Accordingly, J.D. Vance, Trump’s vice president, stated in an interview with Fox News that the Ukraine war will not end anytime soon.
Referring to the trump management’s efforts to resolve the war, he added: “Now that both sides—the Russians and Ukrainians—are aware of each other’s peace terms, it is up to them to reach an agreement and stop this brutal and merciless conflict.”
These remarks come as Trump administration officials, including Secretary of State Marco Rubio, have declared: “If a comprehensive solution for permanently ending the war proves unattainable for both sides in this dispute, America will withdraw from its mediating role in peace talks.”
Recently, the U.S. signed a minerals agreement with Ukraine. This has raised hopes among Kyiv officials for Washington’s continued support in Ukraine’s war against Russia.
