Zionist Newspaper Reports Resumption of Fires in Latrun Area Near Occupied Jerusalem
According to a report by the English section of “webangah News Agency” citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera, the Zionist newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth announced that fires in the occupied territories have reignited in the Latrun area near Jerusalem.
Firefighting teams were immediately dispatched to extinguish the blaze.
The widespread fires in the occupied territories, which began on Wednesday, have engulfed forests surrounding Jerusalem, leading to evacuations in several residential areas and the closure of a major highway to Tel Aviv.Following this incident, Israel’s Prime Minister declared a national state of emergency and requested international assistance to control the flames.
Published images show flames spreading along Highway 1—the main route between Jerusalem and Tel Aviv—with people abandoning their vehicles and fleeing thru smoke-covered hills toward safer areas.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that italy and Croatia are expected to send three specialized firefighting aircraft to assist Israel. The Foreign Ministry of the Zionist regime also confirmed requests for aid from Greece,Cyprus,and Bulgaria.
