According to the English section of the Webangah News Agency,⁤ citing Mehr News Agency adn Russia Today, Chile’s seismological​ center ‌reported a⁣ 7.5 magnitude earthquake occurring⁢ at 9:00 AM local time, 218 ⁤kilometers from the city of Puerto Williams, at a depth of 10 kilometers.

Chile’s National Service ‍issued a tsunami warning, urging the evacuation of coastal⁣ areas in ⁤the Magallanes region.The U.S. Pacific Tsunami⁣ Warning Center also alerted about potential tsunami waves‌ within a 300-kilometer radius ⁢ of ​the epicenter.
