Guterres condemned the Israeli attack near Al Joulani’s residence
According to the English section of the “webangah News Agency”, citing Mehr News Agency, Stephane Dujarric, the spokesperson for the UN secretary-General, stated that António guterres, the Secretary-General of the United Nations, has strongly condemned Israel’s recent airstrikes on Syrian territory, particularly near the presidential palace in Damascus.
Guterres described these actions as a violation of Syria’s sovereignty and emphasized that such attacks must cease, urging Israel to respect Syria’s sovereignty, unity, territorial integrity, and independence.
These remarks follow reports of repeated airstrikes attributed to Israel in Damascus in recent days.
Syrian media reported early today that a location near Syria’s presidential palace was targeted in the latest Zionist regime airstrike.
Zionist sources also cited by thier prime minister’s office stated: “The Zionist regime’s army attacked a target near Syria’s presidential palace last night.”
Following an Israeli airstrike near al-Jolani‘s residence, Israel katz, the war minister of the Zionist regime, responded.
He noted that last night’s strike on Damascus was an explicit warning message to al-Jolani’s faction: “When al-Jolani wakes up in the morning, he will see what Israeli air raids have caused and understand that Israel is determined to prevent any harm to Druze communities in Syria.”
The Zionist regime has been continuously engaged in military intervention in Syria since Bashar al-Assad’s government was overthrown. Zionist media had reported that a site near Syria’s presidential palace was hit by recent Israeli air raids.
Zionist sources further claimed—citing their prime minister’s office—that fighter jets from their regime struck another target near Syria’s presidential palace last night.
Earlier, Tel Aviv had expressed support for Syria’s Druze minority and warned al-Jolani against suppressing them.
