According to a report by the english section of Webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News agency and Qatar’s Al Jazeera, U.S. President Donald Trump told ABC News that an economic recession is probable, but he remains unconcerned. “In my opinion, we will have the greatest economy in U.S. history,” he claimed.
Trump argued that even if the economy experiences a short-term downturn, everything will improve in the long run.
His admission comes days after a poll in the U.S. revealed that Americans blame his policies for worsening economic conditions. The CNN-conducted survey showed 59% of Americans believe Trump’s policies have worsened the country’s economic situation.Additionally, 69% of respondents considered an economic recession likely next year—with 32% rating it as ‘highly probable’.
