Police reported that the incident occurred outside a bank in Thessaloniki, located in northern Greece. Authorities confirmed that the suspect had a criminal record and had participated in multiple bank robberies.The explosion damaged storefronts of several shops and multiple vehicles. Investigations into the incident are ongoing. Police noted they were aware of potential links between the suspect and far-left extremist groups in the country.
