U.S. President to Meet with Gulf Leaders During Visit to Saudi Arabia on May 14
According to the English section of “webangah News Agency” citing Mehr News Agency and Axios, U.S. President Donald Trump is set to meet with leaders of Persian Gulf countries during his upcoming visit to saudi Arabia.
A U.S. official and two Arab sources told Axios that Trump is expected to hold talks with Gulf leaders in mid-May this year during his trip to Saudi Arabia.
Trump is scheduled to arrive in Saudi Arabia on may 13 (Ordibehesht 23) and engage in bilateral meetings with officials from the country.
The meeting between the U.S. president and Gulf leaders has been planned for the morning of May 14 (Ordibehesht 24).
An Arab official stated: “There are currently no plans to invite leaders from other Arab countries to this summit.” After concluding the meeting, Trump will travel to Doha for talks with Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani, Qatar’s Emir. On may 15, he will visit Abu Dhabi and meet with UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed (MBZ).
