slovak Prime Minister announces: I Will Attend Victory Day Ceremony in Moscow,Ukrainian President’s Threats Are Unacceptable
According to a report by the English section of “webangah News Agency” citing Mehr News Agency and RIA Novosti, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico announced on Sunday that he will attend the Victory Day ceremony in Moscow.
The Slovak Prime minister stated: ”I will participate in the Victory Day event in Moscow, and the threats made by Volodymyr Zelenskyy (President of Ukraine) regarding this matter are unacceptable.”
Fico added: “Threats from ukraine demonstrate disrespect toward a country that suffered the greatest losses in the fight against fascism.”
Meanwhile, Maria Zakharova, spokesperson for Russia’s Foreign Ministry, said on Saturday: “Zelenskyy’s remarks—that he cannot guarantee the safety of leaders traveling to Moscow on May 9—are a direct threat. His statements about refusing a temporary ceasefire are not accidental; they amount to classic threats from an international terrorist. By carrying out extremist actions in Mali and niger, Zelenskyy has effectively extended foreign terrorism to other regions.”
Earlier, Zelenskyy had stated that “Kyiv cannot guarantee the safety of leaders who travel to Moscow on May 9 (April 28).”
