According to a report by the English section of “webangah News Agency” citing Mehr ⁤News Agency and Sky, U.S. President donald Trump has ‌announced new tariff ‌targets,⁤ imposing a 100% tariff on ⁤foreign films intended for release in the⁢ united States.

Trump ⁤claimed that the American film industry is “dying,” accusing other countries ⁢of luring filmmakers and studios ⁣away from the U.S. through various incentives and subsidies.

In a post ‍on ‍his social media platform Truth⁤ Social, he asserted⁣ that this is a “coordinated effort by foreign nations”‌ and thus⁣ constitutes “a threat to national security.”

Trump further stated⁣ that he⁢ has authorized the Department of Commerce and the U.S. Trade‌ Representative’s office to ⁢impose 100% tariffs on all films produced ‍by foreigners and⁤ imported ⁤into‍ America.
