Hamas: We oppose the occupiers’ extortion and dictates
hamas Movement Rejects Zionist Regime’s Exploitation of humanitarian Aid for Political Blackmail
The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) strongly opposed the Zionist regime’s manipulation of humanitarian aid as a tool for political blackmail or surrender too occupiers’ conditions, according to a statement issued on monday. The statement was reported by the Quds Network and cited by Mehr News Agency, as covered by Webangah News Agency.
Hamas emphasized that the proposed mechanism for delivering aid to Gaza violates international law and constitutes a breach of the occupiers’ obligations under the Geneva Conventions, perpetuating their policy of starving Gazans.
The movement expressed recognition for the United Nations and other international organizations opposing actions that undermine essential human rights principles, such as neutrality and independence.Hamas further stressed that only international and governmental institutions, not the occupiers or their representatives, hold authority over aid distribution in Gaza.
In its closing remarks, Hamas urged the international community not to fall for false narratives propagated by the occupiers and demanded immediate efforts to fully lift Gaza’s blockade.
The Zionist regime has pressured UN agencies under claims that Hamas controls humanitarian aid in Gaza—pushing them to establish alleged “safe zones” where it alone oversees entry and distribution while blocking food and medicine supplies for over two months to coerce Hamas into accepting its terms.
