Zionist minister: Gaza must be occupied and do not fear the word occupation
The Zionist Regime’s War Cabinet Minister Says One Day After Deciding to Invade Gaza: “This Regime is Persistent to Expand Ground Operations in Gaza”
According to a report by the English section of the Webangah News Agency, citing Sputnik, “Smotrich,” the finance minister of the Zionist regime and a member of its war cabinet, stated that gaza must be fully occupied, and there should be no fear in taking this action.
He further commented on Monday following recent statements, saying that the cabinet had made a more decisive decision yesterday, and the regime’s army would not hesitate to launch attacks from northern Gaza in response to rocket exchanges wiht Hamas.
The Zionist minister also claimed that all residents of northern Gaza had been urged by “Morag” (the Israeli military) to evacuate to an area in southern Khan Yunis, while humanitarian aid distribution was being monitored under security threats from this regime.
Smotrich added: “We intend to occupy Gaza entirely—there is no other word for it but occupation.”Based on the resolutions of the United Nations Security Council, the occupied territories outside the 1948 borders, including Jerusalem and Gaza, are considered Palestinian lands. All actions taken by the zionist regime in these areas—such as settlement construction,occupation activities,and non-legal building projects—are illegitimate.
After its failure to achieve military objectives in Operation Al-aqsa Flood and its inability to eliminate Hamas, the zionist regime has resorted to scorched-earth tactics to compensate for its defeat on October 7th. It aims to undermine any possibility of resistance revival by cutting off essential supplies and escalating attacks on Gaza.
For two months,this regime has blocked food and medical aid under a ceasefire agreement,creating a massive humanitarian catastrophe in this war-torn region. The result has been daily child casualties and starvation crises plaguing Gaza’s population.
