Kremlin Putin and Modi stressed resolute fight against terrorism

In a phone consultation ​between⁣ the presidents⁣ of Russia and India, the leaders of both countries emphasized the need for a decisive fight against terrorism in all ⁢its forms and manifestations.

According ‌too a⁢ report by the English section of⁣ “Webangah News Agency” citing Mehr​ News Agency and Sputnik, Dmitry Peskov, the⁢ Kremlin spokesperson, announced today (Monday) ⁢that Russian President Vladimir Putin‍ held a phone conversation with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

A ‍statement issued by the Kremlin spokesperson on this matter stated: “Russian President Vladimir⁣ Putin expressed condolences ‍to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the killing of several Indian citizens in a terrorist attack in Pahalgam. The ⁤leaders of both countries stressed the necessity of resolutely combating terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.”

The Kremlin spokesperson further added: ⁣ “Modi invited Putin to visit ⁢India, and Putin gratefully accepted this invitation.” Additionally, the Indian Prime Minister congratulated Putin and the Russian people on the⁣ 80th anniversary of their victory. ⁢

It is worth noting that on April‌ 22nd, armed individuals opened fire on tourists in pahalgam, resulting in 26 fatalities.
