Axios: Trump administration focus shifted from Gaza to Iran and Ukraine
U.S. Media Reveals Gaza Ceasefire talks at a Standstill as U.S. Shifts Focus from Hamas Prisoner Swap to Iran and Ukraine
According to a report by the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency, the U.S.-based outlet Axios reported—citing American and Israeli sources—that negotiations regarding a ceasefire in Gaza and prisoner exchanges have reached a complete deadlock, with no progress made.
The sources emphasized that the U.S. government’s focus has now shifted away from Gaza toward the war in Ukraine and negotiations with Iran.
Axios also cited several Israeli officials stating that Donald Trump, due to the ongoing war in the Gaza Strip, has decided not to visit Israel during his upcoming trip to the region.
The same sources revealed that Trump has effectively given Benjamin Netanyahu, Israel’s prime minister, a “green light” to take any action he deems necessary in Gaza.
Simultaneously occurring, American and Israeli officials have stated that under current conditions, the U.S. government’s room for maneuver on Gaza is extremely limited or virtually nonexistent.
