An unprecedented tension in bilateral relations Doha threatened Tel Aviv
An Arabic newspaper points to unprecedented and severe tensions in relations between Qatar and the Zionist regime.
According to a report by the English section of Webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News agency, the newspaper Rai Al-Youm reported that relations between Qatar and the zionist regime have recently become so strained that they have reached the stage of overt and covert threats to cut ties.
The report states that Doha’s relations wiht Tel Aviv are at a critical and unprecedented juncture. Qatar has threatened to end its mediating role in negotiations between the Zionist regime and Hamas, handing over responsibility for this file to Egypt. Analysts suggest Qatar has faced accusations from media and political circles within the Zionist regime, with plans for it to withdraw from negotiations ahead of Trump’s visit to the region.
This move could prove troublesome for the Zionist regime. Yesterday, Qatar’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson stated that Netanyahu’s accusations against Qatar were irresponsible, adding that using populist slogans to justify ongoing crimes against Gaza is unacceptable.
Netanyahu had earlier criticized Qatar after it called on the International Criminal Court (ICC) to halt genocide in Gaza Strip.
