According to ⁤a report by​ the English section of Webangah News agency,⁤ citing Mehr News​ Agency and Al-Mayadeen, Munir ⁣Akram, Pakistan’s Permanent Representative ⁤to the United Nations, stated‌ that Pakistan ‌will respond ⁣to ⁣any aggression ⁤against ⁣its sovereignty. ⁢

He ⁣emphasized that if any ⁢act of aggression​ or provocation occurs, Pakistan—like any other sovereign state—retains the right to self-defense under ⁤the UN Charter. ⁤

Akram asserted: “Pakistan desires ⁣peace but⁣ possesses all necessary capabilities to counter any aggression. The situation remains highly ⁢volatile.”
