Jordanian Airlines Announces Resumption of Flights to Aleppo After 14 Years
According to a report by the English section of “webangah news Agency,” citing Mehr News Agency and SANA, Jordan’s national airline has announced the resumption of its flights from Amman International Airport to Aleppo International Airport, starting today after a 14-year hiatus.
Three weekly flights are scheduled between these airports. The first Jordanian passenger plane landed at Aleppo Airport today, carrying a Jordanian delegation to mark the resumption of flights.
Earlier, Syrian authorities had reported the reactivation of Aleppo Airport in march this year. Prior to this, a test flight from Jordan to Aleppo had been conducted in recent months.
