Hamas warning Gaza occupation plan could cost prisoners lives
The Islamic Resistance Movement of Palestine condemned the approval by the Zionist regime’s war cabinet to escalate attacks and reoccupy the Gaza strip, emphasizing that this move could endanger the lives of Zionist captives.
According to a report by the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera, Hamas today issued a statement responding to the Zionist regime’s perilous plan to reoccupy Gaza, warning that such an action would backfire on the aggressors and come at the cost of Zionist prisoners’ lives.
The statement read: “The approval by the Zionist regime’s cabinet to expand ground attacks in Gaza is a clear decision to sacrifice its own captives in Gaza and repeat a cycle of failure—one this regime has pursued for 18 months without achieving any of its declared objectives from this aggression.”
Hamas also reacted to statements made by the Zionist regime’s prime minister, stating: “The remarks by terrorist Netanyahu—who is under pursuit by international criminal prosecution—reflect his insistence on committing further crimes against innocent civilians in Gaza, carried out with full American support.”
The resistance movement stressed that the Palestinian people and thier brave resistance, who thwarted criminal plans like those of “Herzi Halevi” (the ousted chief of staff of the Zionist army), will never fear threats or schemes from “Eyal Zamir,” his successor.
Hamas affirmed: “We are this land’s rightful owners and will never abandon it, no matter how long this fascist occupying regime persists.”
Hamas called on Arab and Islamic nations, the international community, the United Nations, and its affiliated bodies to fulfill their responsibilities toward palestine and Gaza—urging immediate action against Israel’s occupation forces while pushing for trials against its leaders in international courts.
In closing, Hamas addressed mass protests across Arab/Islamic nations and also global freedom advocates: “We urge intensified public pressure through protests—to halt aggression on Gaza while supporting our people’s legitimate right for liberation from occupation.”
